My father is a film editor and my childhood was steeped in the culture of cinema. I have always been passionate about the medium and have pursued a career in the industry since I was old enough to fetch coffee. In my early teens I worked as a runner at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. Being around the buzz of a set deepened my passion for the business and it was here that I learned the fundamentals of film & television. Following my stint at Pinewood, I was offered a role as a production assistant for TwoFour Group in 2015. Here I learned the etiquette and discipline required for larger scale productions and was lucky enough to work on “Born to Kill” and “Ibiza Weekender” among many other projects. Having learned the tricks of the trade in such revered studios in the UK, I returned back to New York with confidence and interned at REELARC, a 'Scene Creation' production company for actors. Before long I was hired as their lead DOP and have been creating scenes for them ever since. The fast-paced and high-pressure nature of REELARC has given me invaluable experience across a range of disciplines, as I am solely responsible for the technical aspects of the scenes; I set up the lights, design the set, and am in complete charge of camera operation and editing. This has given me a uniquely versatile range at every level of the filming process. Out-with REELARC, I have also worked as an editor on commercial jobs such as “Deal or No Deal UK” and non-commercial independent projects in California.
